The Trendy New Balance 204V Mary Jane Shoe Debuts July 15 for $120

Remember the thin-soled shoe that Spanish superstar Rosalía wore to announce her New Balance partnership? That shoe seems to be getting the Mary Jane-treatment as summer inches closer.

Spotted by X user @ChefDoomy in an Instagram post by Peachy Den, a popular London-based womenswear brand, the latest trendy style by the North American company seems to be named the New Balance 204V. It's quite possible that the "V" refers to the Velcro® strap that converts the standard 204L co-signed by Rosalía and countless other "It Girls" into a laceless Mary Jane shoe.

Every other detail—retro inspired upper, thin sole unit—is kept intact, allowing for fans of the existing New Balance 204L to enjoy the strap-featuring update.

Two color schemes of the 204V—"Neo Flame" and "Fan Blue"—are scheduled to launch on Thursday, July 15, for $120. Additional color schemes are expected to land throughout the remainder of 2026.
