The New Balance 327 is Dropping in Spilt Orange/Blue Blocking

Only early on in its journey, the new-to-2020 New Balance 327 is already gaining some traction in the scene thanks to some impending collaborations from Casablancaand MADNESS, each offering up an entirely new aesthetic. But the brand’s mainline releases are dishing up some unique options, too, with this split-blocked option seemingly melding together two different colorways. On the lateral sides, we see a vintage royal and yellow take, with the medial opting for an Autumn-favorite orange. But while both the silhouette and its split-blocking is modern, the construction is rooted heavily in the 80s trainer trend of nylon and suede, along with chunky black rubber tread which was signature styling for the majority of late ’70s-early’80s trainers.
