Though things are considerably ‘coloring-up’ for the New Balance 550 as we approach the Easter and spring seasons, the Boston-based brand has sought out something a little more subdued from their retro hoops model, with this deliciously-delivered New Balance 550 “Light Milk Tea” taking on tonal, premium tooling.

Uppers of creamy beige work in hues consistent with the pair’s title; A milky color dresses the entirety of the sneaker, in fact, save a clean white midsole streaking from toe to tail. There’s a slight deviation between materials up top, with supple suede and smooth leather slightly differing from panel to panel. Premium upgrades include leather liners and tongues, suede collars in place of your typical mesh, and embroidered tongue tags of a more modest design.
