Grey/Blue New Balance 670 Continues Made in England Collection
A big, big part of New Balance’s persona lies within its locally constructed sneakers — whichever side of the pond you’re on. The Made in England series is, in itself, an expansive collection of elegant offerings, hitting countless notable releases over the years, with its latest settling upon the lifestyle essential New Balance 670 model.
As unassuming as the design itself, the muted color scheme is a perfect fit for the impending Fall season. A staple mix of steel grey mesh and pigskin is yet again accompanied by clean whites and bones in its surrounds in true New Balance fashion. However, the greyscale theme is abruptly interrupted by pops of teal blue suede and stitchwork at the midfoot and heel, and tongue respectively. It’s the latter that emphasizes the model’s production in Flimby, UK, with full-width “MADE IN ENGLAND” embroidered across the front face. A white EVA midsole sees black rubber applied underfoot to complete the ultra-versatile design.
