New Balance Delivers “Dusk” and “Dawn” Colorways on the 740v2
While it hasn’t hit the same mainstream stride as silhouettes like the 9060, the New Balance 740v2 continues to show depth through smart in-line colorways and occasional collaborations. The retro-inspired runner keeps the momentum going with a fresh “Dusk” and “Dawn” pack, offering a vibrant two-piece set for the warmer months ahead.
Both pairs arrive atop black rubber outsoles and are grounded by black synthetic overlays, allowing the gradient uppers and accent details to distinguish each design. The “Dusk” iteration leans bold, showcasing a vivid pink-to-violet gradient ripstop mesh upper and crisp white eyestay panels for contrast. Its counterpart, the “Dawn” edition, uses a more subdued tone, blending soft lemon, orange, and plum across its pastel mesh base for a sunrise-inspired finish.
Though New Balance has not confirmed an official release date, both the “Dusk” and “Dawn” 740v2s are expected to land on NewBalance.com sometime this summer.
