New Balance has reimagined its legendary 991 model with the colder months in mind, as the heritage trainer has recently appeared in a dapper new black and grey tweed and leather construction.

Color-wise, the pair goes back to basics; but its material construction is anything but. Premium wool tweed uppers replace a typical mesh, whilst overlays of buttery black and grey leather are worked across the overlays and tongues. It’s all business underfoot, with white, grey, and black sole units nestled below to complete the design.
