The New Balance 991v2 Returns in Off-White, Grey, and Gum
The New Balance Made in UK collection has consistently delivered some of the finest footwear in the industry, with the factory in Flimby outputting notable models like the 991 and its recent iteration, the 991v2. This line has established a reputation for quality and craftsmanship over the last 40 years, with the 991v2 quickly becoming a standout model thanks to its sophisticated designs and superior materials.
This variant presents a clean and refined color scheme that blends off-white, blanc de blanc, and savvy red, embodying a sophisticated palette that's as stylish as it is understated. The luxurious upper is crafted from pigskin suede in a subtle greyish hue, covering the mudguard, midfoot, and heel, ensuring durability and a premium feel.
The design is further enhanced by a white mesh base that provides breathability and features 3M reflective elements on the toebox overlays, lateral heel, and heel tab for added visibility and aesthetic appeal. Navy accents embellish the tongue and showcase the "Made in England" text, contributing to the sneaker's refined look. At the same time, vibrant pops of red on the New Balance 991 branding and midsole pods inject a dynamic contrast to the otherwise understated release.
The sneaker is rounded off with a cream foam midsole, equipped with strategically placed red and blue pods that support and comfort the foot and echo the shoe's color accents.
