The Deconstructed New Balance 1906A Delivers Three New Colorways for Spring 2025
New Balance’s “Refined Future” series has been a game-changer, pushing the brand’s popular models like the 2002R and 1906R into the spotlight with a mix of rugged deconstruction and vintage-inspired design. Now, the Boston brand continues that legacy with the New Balance 1906A, introducing a trio of bold new colorways that elevate its industrial aesthetic.
The pack includes three distinctive designs: a Blue option with aquatic hues and muted neutral accents; a White, Grey, and Orange version with vibrant pops of color against a clean base; and a Slate Grey/Tan edition that leans into a stealthy, industrial vibe. Each pair maintains the signature extended paneling and distressed overlays of the 1906A, complemented by vintage white trims on the sole and collar to balance the bold, modern construction.
The deconstructed style and aged elements blend retro tech-runner trends with a contemporary edge, reinforcing the 1906A’s place as a fashion-forward evolution of New Balance’s dad-shoe dominance. While the Blue colorway has started appearing at select overseas retailers, the full pack is expected to land stateside soon, with pairs retailing for $170.
