Light follows the dark — and for the New Balance XRCT “Nimbus Cloud” this remains to be true as it’s on the heels of therecently released “Phantom” colorway. This latest design is the fourth CW for the collaborative cross-trainer in as many weeks despite the delayed Stateside releases.

Utilizing the X-Racer as a base like its predecessors, the reinvented silhouette is a total ying to the aforementioned Phantoms yang. In terms of construction, the upper is comprised of water-resistant ripstop, durable leathers, and nylons that this time displays a tonal “Nimbus Cloud” white palette. Underfoot at the foundation of the shoe sits a two-tone white and gum Abzorb sole unit that offers plenty of traction for all conditions, completing the design is the typical NB branding and rope laces.
