After 15 years and 92 collaborations with New Balance, Ronnie Fieg is finally introducing a silhouette of his own.

The Kith founder has officially unveiled the New Balance 2011, a brand-new model designed alongside Sam Pearce. While Fieg has helped shape some of the most recognizable New Balance collaborations of the modern era, the 2011 marks a new chapter in that relationship, giving him a dedicated silhouette within the brand’s expanding lifestyle catalog.

The model takes its name from 2011, the year Kith was founded, and appears to pull from several familiar New Balance design languages without directly mirroring one specific archive model. Early development imagery shows a long design process, with sketches, sample rounds, and color studies highlighting how the silhouette evolved before reaching its final form.

The first colorway teased by Fieg arrives in “Leaf Green,” a layered mix of olive, forest, and bright green tones across suede, mesh, and synthetic overlays. The pair carries a worn-in, earthy look, with cream ABZORB tooling underfoot and a grey “N” logo outlined in green. “2011” branding appears near the heel, while Fieg’s signature detail is stamped toward the rear of the shoe.

One of the more interesting details is how the model blends a classic running build with a slightly heavier, early-2000s New Balance feel. The upper sits on ABZORB tooling originally associated with the 2002, giving the shoe a familiar comfort setup while allowing the new panel structure to stand on its own. Development notes also point to multiple rounds of sampling, with the “Leaf Green” version shifting through different blocking, materials, and shades before landing on the final design.

The broader collection also appears to be much larger than just the footwear. Early visuals show a full New Balance x Kith lineup featuring outerwear, jerseys, shorts, graphic tops, caps, socks, bags, and multiple New Balance 2011 colorways, including green, red, brown, cream, and black-based executions.

For Fieg, the New Balance 2011 feels like a natural next step. His work with New Balance has long been rooted in archival running, seasonal color storytelling, and elevated material use, and this silhouette brings those ideas into a model built specifically around his vision.

Release details for the New Balance 2011 have not yet been announced, but more information is expected to surface this week.
