Morgane Sézalory's Sézane imprint might not boast the same mainstream recognition as other fellow French brands, but the label has cultivated a loyal following looking for refined fashion aesthetics. Thanks to a newly-surfaced New Balance 471 collaboration, Sézalory's work is sure to expand its audience.
Clad in hits of brown, navy, and off white, the low-profile, vintage-inspired project is ready for fall. Its combination of tones and suede-heavy build evokes images of Todd Snyder collaborations with New Balance from over the years. The sneaker's textile base opts for a slight cream finish, allowing for textured panels across the upper to revel in the spotlight. Underfoot, the running-informed sole unit dons an off white-and-navy medley that pairs well with Sézane's seasonal offerings.
Enjoy an early-look at the NB 471 ahead. The collaboration is scheduled to release via Sézane's channels on Thursday, Oct. 16; a global NewBalance.com should take place shortly after.
