Italian-based retailer SLAM JAM might've unveiled its very own adidas F50 football boot collaboration weeks ago, but it more recently took to Paris Fashion Week® to unveil an all-new New Balance silhouette.
Named the 5030, the silhouette falls in line with other future-forward footwear proposals like the New Balance ABZORB 2000. The newly-surfaced style is still in sample-form, but it's curved line-covered molded upper is expected to land on the final iteration of the design. Underfoot, the silhouette sits atop a robust sole unit, which features ABZORB SBS Pods cushioning at the heel just like some of New Balance's popular retro runners from the late 2000s and early 2010s.
The New Balance 5030 will release in a variety of inline color schemes by the end of 2026, but SLAM JAM has first-dibs on the product. Given the Italian imprint's track record, it's possible its linkup with the Boston-based sportswear brand will have some connection to the game of football—a sensical move given the impending 2026 FIFA World Cup™ tournament.
