Julian Consuegra‘s Miami-founded, New York-based imprint Stray Rats and New Balance will reunite again in 2021. After a stellar effort on two 574s back in January, the parties have prepared two more releases for the back-end of the year, this time on the revered 991 silhouettes.
The imprint — pardon the pun — doesn’t stray too far from their recognizable hues, with one option arriving in earthy browns and joker hues of purple and green, whilst the other opts for black and charcoal options poped with neon pink — somewhat of a “Miami Nights” style design. Both appear to be finished with a slew of reflective finishes, whilst co-branding appears to only grace the insoles.
Grab a first look at the Stray Rats x New Balance 991 colorways here below, and expect to see these roll out at Stray Rats on December 11, followed by a NewBalance.com release on December 22.
