Korean streetwear imprint thisisneverthat returns to Boston for a special edition footwear and apparel collaboration with New Balance, headlined by two subdued takes on the 860v2 silhouette.
Imbued by classic trainers, the two offerings arrive with perforated leather uppers — and not just at the toe. The puncture marks extend back to the collar, heel, and tongue, with smooth leathers, shaggy suedes, and mesh netting covering select sections of the sneaker. Both pairs share silver midfoot N motifs, those each comes encased in a respective tonal hue, whilst co-branded tongues pop in vivd red thread. Underfoot, the black offering arrives completely murdered-out, whilst the white pair presents an aged-look sail and oxided casing, and a black rubber tread underfoot.
