John Andrew Vernon Ruskin—best known across the internet as Nardwuar the Human Serviette—is expected to receive his very own Nike SB Dunk Low Pro collaboration throughout the Holiday 2025 season.
First reported by Sneaker Files, and corroborated by the duo of X user @brandon1an and Romanian outlet Sneaker Market, the news arrives as more and more rumors for next year's releases continue to surface. While seemingly random, the report falls in line with Nike SB's recent tendency to tap into pop culture (i.e. projects with Jarritos and Ben & Jerry's). A clear in-hand photo of the shoe didn't appear alongside the news, but the Nardwuar Dunks are expected to feature a "University Red/Black/Yellow Strike/Deep Royal Blue" color scheme across the upper and sole unit, with the former area opting for the iconic Canadian interviewer's signature tartan look.

Nardwuar's ensemble includes a tam o' shanter (gifted to him by his mother), bondage pants, and Nike's "Tartan" Air Max Plus pair from 2018 (currently available via StockX).
Further strengthening the connection between the Human Serviette and Swoosh is Nardwuar's connection to the punk scene.
If you've seen some of his earliest interviews, you'd know he's interviewed Henry Collins, Poisoned, and Gentlemen of Horror, amongst others. Nardwuar's also been part of the Evaporators since 1986, a Vancouver-based garage rock band he formed.
Over the last year, the Swoosh has teased a number of Nike Dunks inspired by the very scene the Canadian journalist has covered for decades. The "CBGB" Dunk Low, for example, celebrates New York City's iconic music venue.
A thorough backstory to the collaboration should appear as the holidays approach. Pairs should hit Nike.com and select shops by December.
