As we approach Spring 2025, Nike is set to revive one of the catalysts of the Dunk resurgence: the iconic Nike Dunk Low 'Syracuse.'
Originally part of the 2020 revival that ignited widespread enthusiasm for the Dunk series, the 'Syracuse' is making a comeback, this time with subtle yet distinct updates to refresh its classic appeal.
In its latest iteration, the Dunk Low 'Syracuse' retains much of its original charm, characterized by its vibrant orange and white color scheme that harks back to the "Be True to Your School" series. However, this release introduces a few nuanced adjustments to enhance its vintage feel and appeal to both old fans and new collectors. The most noticeable change is the sail-tinted sole, which gives the sneakers a slightly aged look, suggesting the pair is well-loved and worn.
Further distinguishing this 2025 version, the orange used throughout the leather uppers is a slightly duller shade than the original, suggesting a sun-faded patina that adds to the vintage aesthetic. Additionally, the tongue now features orange trim, complementing the overall design and adding a touch of refinement.
The Nike Dunk Low 'Syracuse' is slated for a wide Nike.com release throughout Spring 2025, but it's currently available via Shoe Palace for $115.
