Though the silhouette has been missing for a fair chunk of 2020, the VaporMax Plus has made a strong return to favor through the tail-end of Summer and into Fall with a solid showing of fresh colorways that aim to rekindle the spark of 2017’s debut season — and this news may just set the whole resurgence alight. Yes, that’s right, the widely-loved “Triple Black” VaporMax Plus from 2018 is returning this week.
The revered colorway has just appeared out of nowhere here on Nike SNKRS for an October 1st reissue, and it’s expected to arrive unchanged to the original release. Though titled “Triple Black” it does deviate slightly through the pair’s minimal branding hits at the ankle and tongue (in Dark Grey), whilst TN-inspired branding in the rear channels the OG red and yellow hues. Everywhere else, though, arrives murdered-out, from jet black neoprene uppers to its shiny cage overlays and tinted bare-Air soleunits.
