Many people are touting Jerry Lorenzo’s Nike Air Fear of God 1 as one of the best sneakers of the year — even if it didn’t make out Top 10 Sneakers of 2018, people seem to love it. And Jerry’s given the people yet another reason to go wild, with a special edition sample that was made for Florida A&M University men’s basketball team.
It’s aa personal PE, as Florida A&M is the school at which Lorenzo played baseball. Like the OG, the shoe features a Light Bone upper, but it’s box cages arrive in pastel Oranges and Yellows.
In an Instagram post talking about the inspiration behind this sample, he said that he wanted to make Florida A&M what Michigan and the Fab 5 were to him in college or what Oregon is to kids today.
He went on to say that he’s not sure if this Nike Air Fear of God 1 “Florida A&M” Sample will ever hit retailers, but he did provide us with a first look:
