Nike is revving up for the 45th anniversary of the Air Force 1 in 2027. Before the festivities officially commence, the silhouette continues to appear in new makeovers that speak to the design's staying power.
Ahead of Fall 2026, the "presidential" model created by Bruce Kilgore in the early 1980s has emerged in a Women's-exclusive "Leopard" look. Officially clad in a "Bucktan/Desert Ochre/Black" color scheme, the pair features printed canvas panels across the upper, abandoning the faux pony hair and suede seen on other popular leopard offerings from yesteryear.
Stitch lines throughout the pair indulge in a rich yellow tone, although their presence is overshadowed by the spotted nature of the AF-1. Elsewhere, profile Swooshes, Achilles' heel overlays, tongues, inner-lining, and sole units opt for pitch-dark finishes that contrast the aforementioned shades of brown, allowing the animal print to pop that much more.
The newly-surfaced Women's Air Force 1 should release via Nike.com and a select number of global retailers by November with a $125 price tag.
