Executives at the Swoosh conglomerate might've promised investors that the brand would move away from the Nike Air Force 1 and Dunk franchises, but both silhouettes continue to play important roles in the company's roster of products.
Ahead of summer, the institution's Sportswear division has prepped two styles clad in a "White/Ghost/Midnight Navy" color scheme. Although color-blocking differs across both pairs, each new take on Bruce Kilgore and Peter Moore's respective designs features elevates construction and an all-new Just Do It mascot.
Fabric panels appear throughout the sneakers, replacing traditional leather construction. Nike text on both the tongue label and Achilles' heel takes on non-standard styling, with the latter element's branding resembling classic varsity jacket lettering. Inner lining is animated by a blue-and-red plaid pattern, which also appears on the Air Force 1's golden lace dubrae. The aforementioned mascot is reminiscent of a wolf and appears with Just Do It messaging.
