The Comme des Garçons CDG x Nike Air Max 95 Collection Rumored for Release This Week!

The trio of Comme des Garcons x Nike Air Max 95s that first popped up at their lengthy Spring/Summer ’20 runway back in July last year will finally see a retail release. In true CDG styling, the pairs all come with a touch of their reserved aggression. Monochrome makeups are unmistakably CDG, each with rough-cut, loose edged lateral overlays, as if the pair’s layering has been inverted — a continuation of Nike’s “Inside Out” trend from mid last year. The same finish is applied to the suede toe cap overlays, with the remainder of the sneaker appearing to arrive a stock-standard makeup, save the co-branded insoles.

Official looks at the trio of CDG x Nike Air Max 95 have arrived below, but a release date was not supplied — it may very well form part of Air Max Day 2020 Celebrations in which the silhouette will be honored for its 25th anniversary.
