As we wait eagerly in anticipation of the annual Air Max Month celebrations — and the return of the OG “Big Bubble”— Nike has delighted us with drip-fed leaks of accompanying Air Max 1 designs for the occasion. The next to appear is this corduroy-clad Air Max 1 “Baltic Blue”

Dressed from toe-to-tail in corduroy of the titular blue hue, the pair deviates only once on the upper, with Swoosh overlays of “Sesame” arriving at the midfoot — also in corduroy. Its finer details get a little more adventurous with “Gridiron” grey liners and upper eyestays, shared tan and grey tongue tags, sail-tinted midsoles, and rubber outsoles returning to match the liners above.
