While things are definitely not changing for Nike’s plans with the Dunk Low, the material makeup and design styles of the silhouette are. Take this next-up Nike Dunk Low “Iron Grey” for example, with its dual profile Swooshes, tonal-yet-textured leather uppers, and striking Scream Green soles that put a new twist on an old classic.
Here, it’s uppers of smooth leather in the titular hue, with tonal-yet-cracked leather overlays resting atop. It’s liners, laces, and nylon tongues all follow in hue, before new brand marks — like the aforementioned double Swoosh and new insole and tongue motifs — finish the upper half. From there, an off-white sole unit hosts a Grind Rubber-peppered outsole of slime green to complete the design.
