When Drake first unveiled the Nike NOCTA Glide at a Toronto Raptors game back in 2022, it was clear that the multi-hyphenate artist and the Swoosh brand had been cooking up something special. This re-imagination of Jason Kidd’s iconic Zoom Flight 95 silhouette was a daring fusion of streetwear aesthetics and basketball heritage.
The design paid attention to every minute detail. From the durable ballistic mesh upper to the carbon fiber-inspired mudguards and Swooshes on the sides, it was clear this was a sneaker built to perform yet distinctive enough to be a streetwear staple.
Much to the delight of Drake fans, Nike will be expanding the NOCTA Glide's color palette. Five new vibrant iterations are set to hit the shelves this summer, offering a range of options to suit every style.
Two upcoming releases feature bold, electrifying colorways in red and neon green; each accentuated with black and silver for a contrasting effect. An alternate version of the already popular white/black model will also be offered, switching up the color placement for a fresh take on the OG-inspired first release.
For those who prefer a more minimalist aesthetic, Drake and Nike haven't forgotten you. Two more straightforward options in an all-black and all-white variant will also be part of the new drop, offering a sleek and understated alternative for fans of the clean, monochromatic look.
