Devin Booker and Hiroshi Fujiwara have developed a friendship over the years. The relationship has blossomed into developing limited edition versions of the NBA All-Star's popular Nike Book 1.
Today, the fragment design founder has unveiled an unreleased collaboration with the Nike Basketball sneaker.
Differing from a previous pair, the newly-surfaced style features a white-and-red color palette instead of fragment's now-signature blue, black, and white tones. A reptilian finish makes its way onto the spine's upper overlay, while Fujiwara's lightning bolt logo is etched onto the lateral heel; product details are printed onto the midsole. Orange-colored accents land on the vamp and outsole.
What stands out most about the Book 1 by fragment design is the 1 of 2 messaging stitched on the inner lining. This suggests the only two pairs in existence are owned by Booker and Fujiwara. A Nike.com release will likely never take place, but stranger things have occurred.
