The Dunk’s not done on collaborations, it seems, with Fragment Design’s Fujiwara Hiroshi hitting the ‘gram with a brand new flex. Teased by the Japanese design legend on his social media earlier today is the follow-up Fragment x Nike Dunk High collaboration to June’s “Beijing” banger.

This one again takes cues from 2010’s Fragment x Nike Dunk High “City Pack” by borrowing the scheme from the right foot of the “New York” release. Here, though, it presents its colors in different proportions and in alternate blocking. It’s construction is almost identical to the aforementioned Beijing release, though here it’s uppers present in navy instead of plum. Black leather overlays, liners, and laces assume the same positioning, as too does the sole unit which remains unchanged. The only other altered component being the Fragment ankle stamp, which appears here in blue, not white.

A release date for the follow-up Fragment x Nike Dunk High “Toyko” has not yet been set, but it is expected to arrive this Fall, as per the midsole’s directive. As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates, but until then, enjoy a first look at the pair here below.

Update 08.31.21 Fragment has confirmed that the pair will be an exclusive for Japan, with imagery for the release mimicking the original College Colors campaign from 1985. Nike Japan has confirmed a release of the Fragment x Nike Dunk High “Tokyo” for September 5th. Grab an official look at the release here below, and should pairs see a wider global release, we’ll be sure to keep you updated right here on our official Twitter account
