Official Looks at Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Nike Zoom Freak 1 “Antetokounbros”
Nike Gets Freaky
Back in December 2017, Nike confirmed the signing of their next signature athlete in Giannis Antetokounmpo. Now, that last name is not ideal for marketing, but thankfully for the Swoosh, the Milwaukee superstar is lovingly known as the Greek Freak — to which they’ve pulled the signature line’s name.
Today a leaked photo of the Nike Zoom Freak 1 has surfaced, depicting a mid-cut, lightweight upper (in what looks to be a rubberized textile,) complete with an exaggerated midsole and three-piece outsole. We already know of a stock-standard black/white rendition on the way, but this predominately orange and multi-colored option looks to be the debut colorway.
As for a release, you’ll have to stay tuned for more updates! Until then, head on over to our Nike Release Dates page to stay up to date with Nike release dates, add release reminders directly to your calendar and find direct links for each upcoming drop!

According to Swedish retailer Solestory’s official release calendar, the “Total Orange/Midnight Navy-White” colorway previewed below will be arriving on June 29. As for when Antetokounmpo will actually play a game in them, that is still up in the air
