. . . and is getting a signature shoe as a result
Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has today confirmed his allegiance to the Swoosh today via Twitter.
He went with the Oregon-based sportswear company over rivals Adidas who made a huge push for the Greek Freak by not only offering him a mint, but also sending him a truck filled with Yeezys and Ultra Boosts.
But you knew who Giannis would choose. Plus, it seems the deal includes a signature sneaker, planned for the 2018-19 season. He’s got the game, the persona and the international appeal. This is a strong coup for Nike moving forward as the look to regain some lost ground on Adidas over the next few years.
Peep the Greek Freak’s tweet below, where there is a nice little video about what this Nike deal means to him.
