Nike Basketball and Ja Morant are expanding the Memphis star's footwear lineup with the introduction of the Nike Twelve Time, a new budget-friendly model set to launch globally on Friday, Sept. 4. Priced at just $90 in Adult sizing, the design is a more accessible option when compared to Morant's current signature model, the Ja 4, but still packs high performance into an accessibly-priced offering.

The Twelve Time model carries a distinct identity, though it shares several design cues with the now-Portland Trail Blazers star's signature line—namely a low-cut build geared toward quickness and explosive movement on the court.

A sleek, performance-focused upper is paired with a sculpted, dual-density foam midsole and textured heel counter. The outsole extends slightly up the sidewalls for added stability, while a prominent Swoosh sits across the lateral side. Inaugural colorways feature a mix of eye-catching gradient finishes and straightforward ensembles, creating a shoe that's just as stylish as it is ready to perform.

"This one means a lot to me, for real. Growing up, not everybody could always get the top shoe, so making something at a lower price point was important," shared Morant in an official press release. "I want more kids to be able to wear my stuff, hoop in it, feel like they part of it. And the crazy part is[—]we didn’t cut corners. It’s still a dope hoop shoe, you can go out there and compete in it, but we added that lifestyle feel too. I feel like you can hoop in it, then step off the court and still look right. That balance is what makes it special."

Launch coloways of the Twelve Time silhouette include "Solar," "Dark Woods," and "Nightmare" releases. Each pair features numerous nods to Morant, who's championed the idea of 12 a.m. (midnight) being an hour in which you can put in hard work despite no one being around to witness it.

Ja Morant 's Nike Twelve Time releases worldwide on Friday, Sept. 4. Adult sizes of the budget-friendly basketball shoe are priced at $90, while Big Kids' and Little Kids' pairs retail for $85 and $75, respectively.
