Jakob Ingebrigtsen blew up in global superstardom during the 2024 Paris Olympics when he won the 5,000 meters race. His roster of accolades and training methods have made him a household name amongst serious athletes, with many finding success in following his lead. To assist folks in their Norwegian-inspired sessions, Nike Running will release a commemorative collection with Ingebrigtsen.
Akin to Eliud Kipchoge's own catalog with the Swoosh, the track 1,500 meters world record holder is set to lend his name on multiple pairs from Nike's Running catalog. Spikes like the DragonFly 2 Elite headline the collection due to Ingebrigtsen's competitive focus, but road-ready silhouettes like the VaporFly 4 and Pegasus 41 join the mix.

The entirety of the collection inspired by Jakob Ingebrigtsen is set to release before summer ends. All pairs' color schemes are set to skew towards the simple, with the DragonFly 2 Elite track spikes showcasing a predominantly "Medium Ash/Summit White" look. "Light Silver" and "Metallic Gold," however, appear throughout branding hits and other accents across the upper. The footbed features a star-laden graphic, while the technical outsole setup indulges in an iridescent finish.
ReactX foam works in-tandem with Zoom Air units underfoot to deliver a high-performing responsiveness on the track. Ingebrigtsen's put the setup to the test at the highest level, which a quote included on the collection's shoe boxes reiterate: "I don't really enjoy talking about what could be because it's easier to just do it."
Other silhouettes included in the European star's Nike Running collection should include the ZoomFly 6 and Zoom Victory 2.
Enjoy official photos of Ingebrigtsen's DragonFly 2 Elite ahead, and expect shots of the rest of the collection to arrive soon. All pairs should be available via Nike.com by September.
