After a month of speculation, it's official: Jordan Brand has joined the football-inspired Nike Cryoshot program.
Prior to the start of the 2026 World Cup™, rumors about seven "frozen" football boot collaborations with different national football federations surfaced, leading savvy and casual fans alike to wonder what these pairs would look like. Official image sets of the X2 Collection by Nike Football gave the world a proper look at the street style-ready Cryoshots, although Team Jordan's pair was missing. Thanks to X user @PredixOnDemand, that's changed.
Unsurprisingly, the Jordan Cryoshot features a predominantly red color scheme rooted in Chicago Bulls heritage. The pair features DNA from the Nike Mercurial Vapor 1, a set of football boots famously worn by Ronaldo Nazário during the 2002 World Cup™. The curved line-featuring upper sees a soft fabric makeover that brings a touch of luxury to the sport-informed design. Profile Swooshes opt for a suede material that doubles down on the lifestyle-readiness. A heel counter sees iridescent elephant print drawn from the Air Jordan 3, bringing basketball flair to football style.
Lastly, an "Infrared 23"-colored Jumpman logo and image of Michael Jordan from Nike's 1996 "Frozen Moment" commercial appear on the outsole.
A proper Nike.com/Jordan release date hasn't been disclosed by either party involved, but the Jumpman-branded Cryoshot is expected to launch soon for $210.
