First Look // KD 17 "Aunt Pearl"

As anticipation builds for the return of iconic narrative editions like the KD 4 “Aunt Pearl” later this year, another familiar theme emerges from Kevin Durant's signature line: the Nike KD 17 “Easy Money Sniper.”

This release follows the KD 13 “Easy Money Sniper,” which embraced 1960s peace-loving imagery. While this latest model eschews its predecessor's smiley faces and flowers, it retains a similar color palette that complements its theme.

The KD 17 “Easy Money Sniper” features naturalistic greens accentuating the Air Max Plus TPU waves, creating a serene yet dynamic appearance. Rosy crimson highlights the branding, offering a vivid contrast against the shoe’s forest green and black foundation. Notably, the typical KD emblem has been tweaked to an “EEEasy” variation, adding a unique touch to this edition. The design is completed with arboreal embroidery on the engineered mesh upper and textured laces that enhance the shoe's naturalistic appeal, while a glow-in-the-dark rubber tread rounds out the design.

The Nike KD 17 “Easy Money Sniper” will be released on October 21st, 2024.
