Nike Draws All Over this New Air Huarache “Doodle”

Age is not slowing down the Nike Air Huarache — in fact, the younger generation has embraced Tinker’s legendary design with open arms as it continues to slay the Swoosh’s youth lifestyle segment. For its next effort, Nike has taken a whimsical approach to the design, with bold color contrast, glossy textiles, and an illusionary illustrated upper that gives the silhouette new life.

Most noticeably, the pair’s neoprene upper has been dressed in black and white graphic print, with drawings of yin-yangs, flowers, hearts, and Nike motifs joining other classic hand-drawn, time-passing doodles. Here, it’s white set on black for maximum contrast, with white patent leather overlays and EVA foam midsoles also buying into the diversity. From there, Nike deeply a handful of accompanying colors, including orange lateral caging, lemon rear clips, and light blue rubber outsoles and insoles to complete the design.
