Nike made a monumental movement back in 2019 when it announced its partnership with the League of Legends Pro League (LPL), becoming the official shoe and clothing provider of the top online gaming league in China. The brand’s first official dabble into the eSports world opened up an entirely new market, and with it came some pretty decent drops — most notably last year’s Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT. For 2021, the partnership looks to the Dunk to deliver some regional flavor, decking out the drop with patterns and textures inspired by traditional Chinese iconography — those being the most subtle elements of the release.

As one can clearly see, the tonal black textures take a back seat to the bold detailing that surrounds it, with bright white laces, red liners glow-in-the-dark soles, starry heel detail, and iridescent 3M reflective Checks stealing the show. Co-branded tongue tags and insoles arrive to complete the design, and we’re sure that special boxing will be included, too.

Rumor has it that the LPL x Nike Dunk Low will release during Holiday 2021 at select retailers, though this has not yet been confirmed by sources.

Update 11.0821 // Official images for the LPL x Nike Dunk Low have landed, though a release date for the pair has not yet been identified. As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates, but until then, enjoy a detailed look at the pair here below.
