The LEGO x Nike Moon Basketball Is Ready for a Game in Outer Space

The LEGO Group and Nike are gearing up for an important Holiday 2026 season. Although the partnership has launched more than a dozen products over the last year, its upcoming outer space-themed collection might be its biggest yet.

In addition to prepping a rocket-branded Nike Varsity Elite Backpack (32L) and Air Force 1 Low, a moon-inspired Nike basketball is on the way.

Priced at $50, the newly-surfaced item features a "Multi-Color/Light Smoke Grey/Black/Rush Red" color scheme that recreates the surface of the moon across every panel on the ball. Instead of taking a scientific approach to the matter, the greyscale print showcases the moon's surface as if it was made out of LEGO® Blocks.

As with some of the other LEGO® x Nike pieces set to launch before 2026 ends, the basketball features a special-edition Swoosh logo that sees the iconic branding element as a red rocket blasting off into space. Additional co-branding is found on a separate label towards the "bottom" of the basketball.

Stay tuned for an official Nike.com launch of the LEGO® Nike Moon Basketball. Other sports equipment (e.g. football, U.S. football) done in a similar theme might surface over the next month.
