Nike's inaugural collection with LEGO® began releasing on July 1. Items quickly sold out, leading collectors of all ages to eagerly wait for any follow-up releases from the burgeoning partnership. As promised in the duo's initial announcement, more block sets are scheduled to release throughout September.
Apparel and accessories are slated to land on Monday, Sept. 1, and they're set to be accompanied by the LEGO® Nike Slam Dunk Set (809 pieces) and LEGO® Nike Dunk Trickshot Set (454 pieces). Both products mix the Swoosh's sports heritage with The LEGO Group's expertise in playful creativity to create empowering collectors' items.
The upcoming sets include basketball hoops and figurines flying through the air to dunk the ball. The 809-piece set features a character reminiscent of one LeBron James, while the accompanying collection boasts a classic LEGO® figure. The Trickshot Set includes a recreation of an iconic white-and-red Nike Dunk Low, playing with the design's literal and name-related connection to the sport of basketball.
Enjoy official photos of both new LEGO® x Nike block sets below. The Slam Dunk and Dunk Trickshot collections should release via Nike.com and LEGO® channels in September for between $50-$100.
