The Nigeria Football Federation's (NFF) last-attempt plea for a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ tournament was unfruitful, meaning that the "Super Eagles" didn't qualify for its second-straight World Cup™ competition. Yet, its official kit manufacturer, Nike, has unveiled what the African nation would've worn during the summer as part of its Home and Away federation kit unveilings.
Akin to every other World Cup™ jersey this year, Nigeria's shirts are built with innovative Aero-FIT technology. The cooling solution provides over 200% more ventilation for athletes than legacy fabric—all while helping NIKE, Inc. in its eco-friendly efforts given that Aero-FIT uses recycled waste.
Design-wise, Nigeria's 2026 jerseys are tamer than previous editions. Both Home and Away shirts, however, are unmistakably for the West African nation.

The Home design features a green-heavy execution across its build. Armor-inspired side panels represent strength and determination as nods to Nigeria's youth culture and its steadfast attitude. Heritage is reinterpreted for the modern game, ensuring the elite-level kit speaks to the fast-paced nature of many Nigeria national football teams throughout history.
The Away jersey also plays with cultural identity, drawing from the sport, music, and art scenes present throughout the country. The thrill of motocross, afrobeats' rhythms, and vibrant, eye-catching creative expression come together on the Visitor's design—namely in the form of an all-over flame graphic. Additionally, the shirt's gradient execution sees classic green transform into Nike's signature "Volt" hue, creating a dynamic visual on the predominantly-"White" top. "NFF" inner pride highlights the Nigeria Football Federation.
