Nike Air Presto “Naija” Confirmed for September 28th Release
It looks like the Greek Freak’s sophomore signature sneaker isn’t the only Nike honoring the Nigerian football hits this Summer, with this Nike Air Presto “Naija” adopting the African nation’s geometric stylings.
Voted the waviest kits of the would-be games (by us), the Naija team kits feature geometric/zig-zagging detail in varying shades of green, white, and sometimes black — which is exactly the palate this Presto has picked up. Here, the neoprene upper is split into distinct sections; the forefoot takes on bold, oversized graphics, whilst the quarter tackles a traditional cross-hatch finish. Striking black midsoles house a semi-translucent green lace cage and heel clip, the latter proudly displaying “Naija” on the heel a-la the famed Australia Presto. Underfoot you’ll find a predominately white rubber outsole, which is matched at the vamp by-way-of the embroidered Swoosh, and the pair is complete with a punchy lime green midfoot Swoosh, and traditionally-patterned rear pull.
