The fifth installment of Nike’s Air Barrageresurgence has surfaced in a back-to-basics black. The all-new take on the mid-90s cross-trainer takes an almost-all-black approach, giving the aggressively-designed silhouette a much-needed break from bold, boisterous colorways. There are only a handful of contrasting hits on this pair — all of which arrive in white — the embroidered Swoosh at the toebox, the extended eyelet ribbon, heel Nike Air branding, and insole print — that’s it. Everything else arrives in all-black mesh, nubuck, and rubber.
