We were wondering when an OG colorway of the recently reinstated Nike Air Barrage Mid would come along — and now we finally have one, with 1995’s White/Navy/Black/Gold set to make its return to retail soon.

The quintessential model from Nike’s mid-90’s turf training category, the Air Barrage is everything a 90s sneaker should be; big, bulky and loaded with maximalist design. From its countless overlays to its oversized midfoot strap — to its period-favored chunky white sole unit — the Barrage really has the 90s summed up in one sneaker. It even sports a whopping sixteen Swooshes across the pair PLUS, there’s that giant midfoot AIR lettering — sheesh!

While I haven’t seen an original pair of these in at least 15 years, off memory this pair remains true to the OG in every way, including white mesh underlays, blue nubuck overlays layered in smooth white leathers and black detailing at the midsole and nubuck heel cage. Completing the OG vibe is the metallic gold embroidery hits on the forefoot Swoosh and heel Nike Air branding hit.
