Available Now // Nike Air Barrage Mid “University Red” OG

No one expected to see the return of the Nike Air Barrage Mid in 2019. But while it was one of the most surprising retro releases in recent years, we did expect to see a few OGs colorways return in its aftermath. But almost four months on we’re still waiting. There is some light at the end of the tunnel for OG heads, though, with a second original colorway now primed for a retrospective release; this Red/White/Black rendition now joins the yet-to-be-released Navy/White/Black/Gold OG.

Ripped straight from the mid-90s catalog, this retrospective colorway arrives on-point to the OG, pairing white mesh uppers with red nubuck toes, tongues, and midfoot straps. The profile is packed with white leather overlays, while black is reserved only for the midsole and extended heel pulls. The many branding hits arrive in either white or red, and the pair is capped off with red liners and a two-color outsole.

Fans of the mid-90s turf trainer can finally expect to see an OG Barrage release soon — but with release dates for this and the aforementioned Navy pair still up in the air, you’ll have to sit tight just a little longer.
