Deion Sanders' impact on sports and sneaker culture remains unmatched, and Nike continues to honor his legacy with another bold retro: the Nike Air Diamond Turf Prototype '92 “Black.” Officially slated for Fall 2025, the model revives one of the most iconic trainer silhouettes in history—reimagined with modern flair and historic callbacks.

This upcoming edition boasts a stealthy black-dominant upper composed of nubuck and mesh, contrasted by bright white Swooshes and gold underlays at the midfoot panels. The shoe’s signature midfoot strap returns with a bold white "NIKE" branding, while crimson accents on the inner lining and tongue badge give the design a high-energy finish. A Prime Time logo on the tongue reaffirms its connection to Sanders, blending his football flash and baseball finesse into one distinctive statement.

The return of the “Prototype” build leans on early samples of the original Air Diamond Turf, delivering slightly refined paneling and construction. Its mid-cut build and Max Air unit at the heel retain the silhouette’s trainer DNA—perfectly capturing the era of two-sport dominance and turf-ready versatility.

The Nike Air Diamond Turf Prototype '92 “Black” is scheduled to release in Fall 2025 for $155 via Nike.com and select retailers.
