The Air Flight 89 Joins Nike’s “Roswell Rayguns” Collection

We’re now just days away from Nike’s extensive “Roswell Rayguns” collection that incorporates a handful of the brand’s best retro hoops shoes (and a Kyrie 7) in honoring the classic Nike ad campaign from 2002. Already covering the Air Force 1, Blazer, More Uptempo, Air Raid, and two Converse options, the pack felt a little unfinished with the absence of the Air Flight, which has had a significant resurgence over the past 12 months. But never fear — it’s here — with official images for the Nike Air Flight 89 “Roswell Rayguns” coming to light.

Like the others from the pack, it arrives in the shared palette of black, white, orange, and yellow, here focusing heavily on smooth black leathers. The other three hues play popping roles across a bevy of accentuations, with white hitting the sole unit, Swoosh set, and laces, yellow at the liner and eyelets, and orange across the tongue branding, forefoot trim, and midsole paintwork. The Alein/Basketball face motif rests at the heels, and the pair is complete with RAYGUNS-branded insoles

A release date for the Nike “Raygun Pack” has been confirmed for January 15th, 2021, and you can expect these to release with it from the retailers listed below for $120.
