With some Jordan-heavy influence feeding into All-Star sneaker inspiration for 2020’s Chicago-hosted event, it’s refreshing to see some Windy City-specific takes surface amongst the crowd. Offerings like the Air Jordan 10 “Wings”, and Don C’s Air Force 312 and similarly-designed KD 12 all pay tribute to the city in question, as does this upcoming two-piece pack of Air Force 1Lows, which is said to celebrate Chi-Town’s diverse neighborhoods.

The pack arrives animated by the neighborhoods found around the South-West side of Lake Michigan. One pair arrives in cool cement grey and white patterns and prints, as to represent the wide-reaching concrete jungle of Chicago’s heart, while the other opts for vibrant greens and an earthy gum sole unit to depict the greener outer suburbs of Illinois’ capital. Why each print and pattern was used was not specified, but there is no mistaking their inspiration, with “CHI” lettering arriving on the heels to cap off the design.

Take a peep at both the color and monochrome makeups below, and look for these pairs to drop throughout All-Star Weekend’s activities midway through next month.

Update 02.06.20 Official looks at All-Star Weekend 2020’s Nike Air Force 1 Low “Chicago” have arrived, with the monochrome pair surfacing on Nike.com. Pairs of the Black/White will arrive on February 8th, with the Accompanying green/gum pair arriving a few days later on Feb 10th in Europe.

Update 02.19.20 A US release for the pack’s green edition has finally been confirmed, with pairs touching down on Nike.comon February 22nd @ 10:00 am ET
