Nike Air Force 1 Crater “Move to Zero” Opts for Orange and Olive Accents
Nike’s sustainable Crater Foam is popping up on just about everything of late, the Air Force 1 Crater included. With the design already fitting the bill for Nike’s Move to Zero mantra, it’s seemingly not quite enough, for the Swoosh has again altered its design to deliver more callouts to the campaign alongside some subtle material shifts, too.
With uppers previously appearing in Flyknit and/or Flyleather, this new release opts for a semi-translucent sheath as its majority material, leaving recycled leathers solely for the eyestays and Swooshes. The rear-end of the shoe shows a big part of the innards, tinted here in a militaristic duo of orange and olive. The Crater Foam sole unit assumes the same white tones found above, and the pair is then completed by pops of orange the heel and tongue branding.
