Nike Air Force 1 Flyknit Crater “Black Chambray” Arrives May 13th

Flyknit is nothing new for the Air Force 1, with the hot-and-cold finish floating between popularity and the outlets for some time now. Crater Foam soles, though relatively new, have also become a staple inclusion in the AF1 repertoire, gracing releases too-many-to-count in recent months. But now the two combine for the first time, debuting in a handful of colorways this Spring Now, after appearing in a simple white and chambray blue build, comes this alternate black offering which is set to arrive in both Kids and Adults sizing this May.

Save the signature blue tint of the Creator Foam sole beneath and its matching tongue branding, the pair arrives clad in jet black. Here, a one-piece upper that subtly uses differently weighted weaves to achieve a traditional paneling effect. The aforementioned recycled sole comes complete with grind rubber flecks throughout, while its toe and tail are tinted in an off-white. Black leather overlays arrive at the Swoosh, heel, and eyelet piece, and the pair is capped off with the Swoosh’s sustainable-identifying neon green Pinwheel-branded insoles
