Air Force 1 Flyknit Crater “Wolf Grey” Arrives in May

Flyknit is nothing new for the Air Force 1, with the hot-and-cold finish floating between popularity and the outlets for some time now. Crater Foam soles, though relatively new, have also become a staple inclusion in the AF1 repertoire, gracing releases too-many-to-count in recent months. But now the two combine for the first time, debuting in a handful of colorways this Spring Now, after appearing in two simple white black options, the silhouette has no appeared in a slightly more complex “Wolf Grey” colorway.

Uppers of the titular grey weave work in traditional underlay areas — the toe and mid-panel — before multi-colored flecks are flushed through the toe and quarter to replicated the silhouette’s traditional overlay lines. Eyelets, Swooshes, and rear overlays all arrive in suede, with the former decked out in grey and the latter two in a striking white. Laces match the latter and rest above a multi-color tongue that sports a bright red tongue tag above. Completing the design is a tonal grey Crater Foam sole unit, grey liners, and the signature sustainable Pinwheel-branded insoles.
