Nike Air Force 1 High Utility “Force is Female” to Release in Two New Colorways

Despite some bad press, Nike’s commitment to female empowerment carries on — into their retail releases at least. Though Nike’s special female-focused collections and collaborations, we’re reminded just how strong, independent and powerful women are — but they’re not always seen that way. In hope of changing that narrative, the Swoosh continues to honor feminity through their “Force is Female” collection. This season sees two Nike Air Force 1 High Utilities joining the ever-growing collection, with each emitting a vastly different aesthetic

Traditionally associated with the female gender, a pastel pink pair leads the charge, arriving with tonal pink uppers paired with pastel blue and sail hits throughout. But not every girl likes pink — nor should they be forced to. The second-up offering is a little more adventurous, utilizing a different colored tumbled leather for each panel. Both pairs come complete with utilitarian adjustments, including heavy-duty eyelets, and modified heel pulls, as well as forefoot Nike Sportswear branding hits, flipped tongue tags and lockdown straps that read “FORCE” and “FEMALE” when closed and opened.
