It looks like Jordan Brand’s Animal Instincts are rubbing off on their neighboring Nike family, with an upcoming “Animal Swoosh” Air Force 1 set to arrive at retailers this Spring.

Delivering a completely contrasting aesthetic to the aforementioned Air Jordan pack, this Air Force 1 Low keeps things reserved — without conceding on caliber. A first glance would suggest a stock-standard Triple White Uptown base, but a closer inspection reveals a beautifully-tumbled leather construction all around. Elegant gold embroidered branding ups the luxe ante, but the pair is truly championed by its alternating animal Swooshes. The Checks are presented in subtle asymmetrical fashion, with golden pony hair adorning both the left-facing profile, and a croc-textured leather riding the right-facing profile. The pair is then capped off with a classic white sole unit and golden Nike Air-branded insoles.

The hues have been cooled to “Thunderstorm” blues, and the leather and fur have swapped sides.
