Nike Sportswear continues to reimagine the beloved Air Force 1 Low in a number of refreshing styles.
Ahead of summer, Bruce Kilgore's "presidential" design has emerged in a "Light Bone/Summit White/Light Armory Blue" color scheme. The pair enjoys the sneaker's '07 LV8 build, which harkens back to the aughts, an era in which the Swoosh was celebrating the silhouette's 25th anniversary. The shape and quality of materials are closer to Kilgore's original vision than standard editions of the shoe.
Suede construction appears around the forefoot, along the tongue, and across the heel, setting interrupting the number of leather panels throughout the upper. "Light Armory Blue" animates profile swooshes, laces, and other accents around the collar, while forefoot and mid-foot panels don a "colorless" look. Underfoot, the tried-and-proven sole unit favors a two-tone style akin to so many other AF-1 drops of the last 42 years.
Enjoy official photos of the "Light Armory Blue"-accented pair below. The Air Force 1 should arrive to Nike.com and a wide assortment of retailers by the end of summer.
